Gaia Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation

This is our second-oldest KidSpace class, generally aged 8-12. It sometimes combines classrooms with the Shoots class if there are not enough students. During class, these students learn (among other things):

• creation of ritual/sacred space for themselves;
• application of the Cornerstones;
• understanding of the Seven Principles;
• basic understanding of world religions and traditions;
• comprehension of major pagan paths and pantheons.

Before they may graduate to the next class, they must demonstrate:

• decorum during ritual and sacred space;
• creation of ritual/sacred space for themselves with minimum oversight/instruction;
• successful completion of a Rite of Passage.
