Come sing, learn, and share chants celebrating the Earth (Gaia), its
life and seasons. Sing songs and chants to create sacred space; sing
rounds, play with harmonies; experience improvisational singing. Our
vision is to evolve into a (primarily) pagan chorus that would perform
publicly. Female and male voices are both welcome! Contact
Kitty for information.
Voices of Gaia meets at SMUUCH in the Thoreau room downstairs now,
just underneath the barn chapel.

If you're able and willing, come early before rituals/classes on Sundays to our Sacred Rhythm group, led by
Jeff. As the name implies, this is not purely a
drumming circle, but any type of percussive sound is welcome. Bring your drums, bring your shakers, or just
bring your hands and feet. No previous experience necessary!

There's something happening at Gaia Community every Sunday
at 4:00pm. Come join us for transformative rituals, enlightening classes, engaging discussion forums
and practical workshops!

comment on rituals past, present and future. Contact the Ritual Teams Coordinator

Rituals for Business are a chance for the Board and Membership to get together to discuss
business, as well as any Member or Friend of Gaia to make their voice heard.
Rituals for Business are open to anyone to speak or attend, although only
Full Active Members may participate in the
decision making process. Rituals for Business are held at SMUUCH in the
Jefferson/Franklin room downstairs, unless otherwise specified.

Our covenant group dealing with the various religious paths and traditions in the
Kansas City metropolitan area meets regularly each month.

Gaia's Games Night is back to a monthly schedule, with Sacred Dance Group on hiatus.
Plan to bring your favorite games, snacks, or just yourself and anyone you think might enjoy
fun and cameraderie. Official Gaia Business is not to be conducted at these gatherings -
we've decided officially (outside of the gathering, of course)!
Games Night takes place at SMUUCH, either in the barn chapel or the basement
rooms as space and activities permit.
Contact our David, Kimberly, or Carey for more information.

Join your fellow Gaians for food, friendship, and frivolity! Meets the
4th Friday of every month, be sure to check the calendar, listserv, or
the Earth Healer for more information.

Biquarterly Events

Every six to seven weeks, we celebrate one of the eight High Holidays of the Wheel of the Year.
In order to facilitate the most number of people being able to attend, these are held on the
Sunday closest to the Sabbat usually, in place of the weekly ritual. Most of the time ritual will start at 4pm as usual,
with a potluck meal afterward (occasionally schedule changes will be made because of the type of ritual; check the
actual schedule for more details. These rituals are followed by a
potluck feast, so bring a dish large enough to feed eight hungry people (and remember to label your ingredients!)
For the Earth's sake and in honor of our Green Sanctuary
pledge, we ask that you bring reusable dishes and serving utensils, instead of disposable ones.

The 'Family Support Group' is to provide a safe and welcoming place for those in conflict within or
