Fairy Tale Arc I

Fairy Tales that we remember from our childhood...just simple little tales to amuse us, or primitive morality tales designed to encourage us to mind our elders and follow the rules? Or is there something else lurking there within the familiar words, something deeper, something useful to our adult selves? In this, the first of an arc of rituals this fall, we explore one of these common, simple stories: Little Red Riding Hood. To begin with, why was she wearing a riding hood, to go walking in the woods? And who sends a child to carry wine to their grandmother, anyway? Ponder these and many other intriguing questions as we wander into the woods...
